The TBF Bank Fishing Tournament Trail is now forming!

Would you like to participate in bank fishing tournaments around the DFW metroplex (and possibly other locations in Texas)?

The TBF Tournament Trail will consist of multiple tournaments each targeting select species of fish. There will be something for everyone. Including sponsor prizes and cash prizes with a 100% payout from all paid entry fees!

A Trophy Is Waiting

One thing that I know and unfortunately alot of anglers don't realize is, there's more than a good chance that the "the biggest fish I ever caught" has the potential to be caught very close to where you live. For instance...

  • That small creek right by your house may have a deep hole that large fish like to nest or get stuck in with no place to go.
  • The local pond that's been stocked with catfish every year may have a few large specimens that no one has caught yet.
  • Farm ponds or stock tanks that you drive by on the way to work are sometimes the best place to catch the largest bass of your life! Don't be afraid to knock on the door and ask permission to fish. Tell them you practice catch, photo, release or tell them you'll bring some back for them too. ;)
  • Is there a spillway close to your home? Instead of passing it by everyday, makes plans to fish it after work once in a while. Some of these bleed into or from creeks, ponds, rivers, etc, and they can offer excellent fishing after a good rain storm.
  • Rivers always have a chance for a trophy and chances are there is access to a river within 10 miles where you live. For those close to the Trinity in Ft.Worth, just because some of the... more
